Banff National Park is home to one of the longest ski seasons in North America and three world-class ski areas, which are all located within 45 minutes of the Town of Banff: Mount Norquay, Sunshine Village, and the Lake Louise Ski Resort. While some skiers and riders have their favourite ski area in this UNESCO World Heritage Site, mountain enthusiasts can also take advantage of a Tri Area pass known as the “Big 3 Season Pass.”
The Tri Area pass provides access to 8,000 acres of ski terrain in Canada’s Protected Playground™ at Mount Norquay (including night skiing), Sunshine Village, and the Lake Louise Ski Resort. In addition, the pass provides access to the Lake Louise Gondola in the summer, as well as discounted rates for guests, allowing you to enjoy the scenery of this world-famous area throughout the year.
For additional details on the Tri Area pass, or to purchase your pass by phone or online, visit Ski Big 3.
Lessons at All Three with Club Ski
If you’re keen to take lessons and to also take advantage of the three ski areas, the Club Ski Program allows you to do just that. This 3-day program includes lessons with the same instructor at all three ski resorts, and is available to skiers of all levels. (Please note: Club Snowboard is no longer available). This program is a five-time winner of the Neilson Active Holidays Marque of Excellence Award.
