Sunshine Village

Reaching elevations of over 9,000 feet, you’ve never seen anything quite like Sunshine Village. Here you can stand at the top of a run, high up on the Continental Divide, and find yourself far above tree-line with unobstructed views of the surrounding peaks. And as you head down the mountain, you notice that there is something special about the powder. That might have something to do with the fact that Sunshine Village doesn’t make any snow – we can rely on Mother Nature to deliver plenty of the white stuff.

Located only 15-minutes from the Town of Banff, Sunshine Village offers more than 3,300 acres of ski and snowboarding terrain, including the massive 12-acre Rogers Terrain Park. The adventure begins with a 5-kilometre (3-mile) high-speed gondola ride from the lower parking lot to Sunshine Village at 7,082 feet. From there you have access to 12 lifts and over 100 runs. For the advanced skiers out there, Delirium Dive and Goat’s Eye offer exhilarating drops that’ll leave your heart racing for hours.
