The Town of Banff is not in itself a ski resort, but rather provides superb access to three ski areas, including Sunshine Village. A vehicle – whether car, shuttle or bus – is required to reach the ski area. That being said, Banff has been voted in the “Top 10 No Car Needed Resort in the World” by OnTheSnow.com and there are plenty of options for public transportation.
