The Lake Louise Ski Resort
Ski & Snowboard School
Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advance skier or snowboarder, qualified instructors are ready to help you improve your skills. A ski or snowboard lesson will give you the added confidence to make the most of your experience at the Lake Louise Ski Area.
These lessons are designed by you! Cater your lessons to the skills you want to improve and the kind of terrain you’d like to cover. Keep your lessons one-on-one or have up to four friends or family members join you. Check out the pricing and timing options, as well as the local’s favourite “First Tracks,” which gives you half and hour with an instructor before the mountain opens to the public!
Adult-only group lessons, including multi-day programs, are available at the Beginner and Intermediate-Advanced Levels. View pricing options to choose one that’s right for you.
To help your child improve his or her skills at the ski area, sign up for Kids Group Lessons, available for many ability levels. Qualified instructors focus on safe, kid-friendly teaching techniques. Multi-day lessons (2-4 days), as well as KinderSki (for ages 3 and 4) are also available. Check the website for more details and pricing information.
Joining a ski program allows you to improve your skills on the hill and enjoy the company of other skiers on a weekly basis. Multi-week programs give you the chance to make new friends, see old ones and take on new challenges on the slopes each week.
The Lake Louise Ski Area offers both 6-week and 9 week Ladies Programs, which include lift tickets, lessons, return bus transportation, wine and cheese, optional lunch (some days), springtime après-ski events, and ski demo opportunities. Check the website for more information and to register.
Various children’s and youth programs run for consecutive weeks throughout the ski and snowboard season. These multi-week ski lessons are catered towards different age groups, focus on fun and safety, and allow your child to build on his or her skills from one week to the next. Check the website for various program descriptions and age categories.
The Lake Louise Ski Area is proud to be a part of numerous Ski & Snowboard Clubs and associations, including clubs that offer Skicross and Snowboardcross training and advanced freestyle skiing. View all the clubs and associations to choose one that’s right for you!
